The Charlotte office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, seeks a full-time Office Administrator.  Candidates must possess remarkable leadership, organizational, and project management abilities.  Responsibilities include overall day-to-day management of office activities and general responsibility for financial controls, operations, facilities management, and office marketing activities.  Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in administration, law firm experience preferred.    We offer interesting and exciting work in a firm with a great atmosphere, competitive salary with full benefits.

Medical Malpractice Litigation Paralegal - Charlotte

The Charlotte office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, seeks a full-time Medical Malpractice Litigation Paralegal to join its Litigation practice.  Position requires the ability to work with clients and attorneys in all aspects of litigation.  Strong organizational, interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills.  At least two years' experience as a litigation paralegal and Bachelor's Degree is required.  We offer challenging work in a fast-paced environment, competitive salary with full benefits.

Technology Support / Helpdesk Specialist - Charlotte

The Charlotte office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, seeks a full-time Technology Support / Helpdesk Specialist.  This position will configure, maintain, and deploy firm computers; troubleshoot and affect repair on all firm printers and scanners; provide on-site, telephone and remote support to all professionals and staff; maintain inventory of all computer systems including sign-out equipment; be responsible for some network administration as deemed appropriate by Chief Information Officer.  Candidates should have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in a technology-related field, two years IT-related support experience in a law or professional services firm, excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent “people” skills, and problem solving abilities.  An ability to maintain composure under pressure and exemplify high levels of patience is a must as well as a high level of professionalism in both conduct and appearance.  We offer challenging work in a fast-paced environment, competitive salary with full benefits.

The Tampa office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, seeks a full-time Special Projects Assistant for the Association/Collections Law practice.  Position requires the candidate to be highly organized, detail oriented, motivated, reliable, proactive and a self-starting individual seeking to challenge him/herself and develop a career in a supportive, team oriented environment.  The ideal candidate will possess a background in accounting (A/R), excellent communication, interpersonal skills, proofreading, typing and grammatical skills, be able to handle large volumes of work and will work well under tight and shifting deadlines.  2 – 5 years’  experience preferred.  We offer challenging work in a fast-paced environment, competitive salary with full benefits.
