Administrative Assistant - Charlotte

The Charlotte office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, seeks a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant in its Corporate practice group.  Candidates must have 5+ years' experience.  Responsibilities include:  word processing, transcribing dictation, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, etc.  Must have excellent computer skills, type a minimum of 65 wpm, and have strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.  We offer a great work environment, competitive salary and full benefits with full-time placement.

Certified Litigation Paralegal - Sarasota

The Sarasota office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is seeking a Certified Paralegal for its Litigation Department. Qualified candidates must have strong civil litigation experience and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal. Our ideal candidate will have construction litigation experience, excellent interpersonal, organizational, writing and communication skills, and experience with Summation and/or CaseMap. Trial preparation experience is required. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of the litigation team.

Special Projects Assistant:  Association/Collections Practice - Tampa

The Tampa office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, seeks a full-time Special Projects Assistant for the Association/Collections Law practice.  Position requires the candidate to be highly organized, detail oriented, motivated, reliable, proactive and a self-starting individual seeking to challenge him/herself and develop a career in a supportive, team oriented environment.  The ideal candidate will possess a background in accounting (A/R), excellent communication, interpersonal skills, proofreading, typing and grammatical skills, be able to handle large volumes of work and will work well under tight and shifting deadlines.  2 – 5 years’  experience preferred.  We offer challenging work in a fast-paced environment, competitive salary with full benefits.

Billing Coordinator - Toledo

The Toledo office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, seeks a full-time Billing Coordinator.  Responsibilities include distributing drafts, editing and posting final bills.  Electronic billing experience a plus.  Computer skills and a general understanding of accounting required.  Candidates should have 2-5 years of billing experience, preferably in a legal environment.  We offer a great work environment with competitive salary and full benefits.

Client Billing/Special Projects Assistant - Toledo

The Toledo office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, seeks a full-time Client Billing/Special Projects Assistant who will be responsible for all aspects of billing and most administrative support for a client of the Firm, including, but not limited to, reviewing and editing prebills, posting into internal and e-billing software, resolving any matters in an electronic website, handling day-to-day administrative items such as managing updates to forms, and monitoring compliance with protocols related to client matters.  This position will interact with the internal working team, client representatives, and manage deadline-sensitive billing tasks and other tasks.  Must have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a financial related position, strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
