Brandon M. Taaffe is in the Broker-Dealer Litigation Practice Group of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP. Brandon focuses his practice on broker-dealer litigation and arbitration. He is a member of a team of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP attorneys who represent large financial institutions and high net-worth individuals in securities litigation and violations of contractual covenants. His practice also focuses on employment law, restrictive covenants, trade secrets, commercial litigation, and arbitration before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
Prior to joining Shumaker, Brandon served as an intern for Congressman Vern Buchanan in Washington, D.C. and at his office in Sarasota where he researched legal issues, compiled data, and assisted constituents with receiving federal benefits to which they were entitled. In law school, Brandon was a member of the Trial Team where he developed a passion for litigation.
Brandon is also an accomplished rower, competing on championship crew teams throughout high school and as a Varsity rower at Trinity College. Brandon continues to enjoy athletics by competing in Ironman triathlons and various running races.
