Daniel R. Strader focuses his practice in the area of employment law litigation and counseling. Dan represents employers in a wide variety of employment claims, including wage and hour litigation, discrimination claims, contract disputes and enforcement of restrictive covenants. Dan regularly counsels clients on compliance with federal, state and local employment laws including the FLSA, FMLA, Title VII, ADA and ADEA. Dan also assists clients with reviewing and drafting employment documents such as handbooks, employment contracts, non-compete agreements and severance agreements, and performs audits of clients' employee recordkeeping practices.
While at Stetson University College of Law, Dan served as Assistant Executive Editor and Digest Writer for the Stetson Law Review. Dan received multiple scholastic awards including the Stetson Dean's Merit Scholarship, Presidential Award Merit Scholarship, Dean's List, various Book Awards, and was also a Stetson Honors Program Graduate and member of Phi Beta Kappa. In the summer of 2010, Dan interned for the Honorable Elizabeth A. Kovachevich, U.S. District Judge for the Middle District of Florida.
