Matt Kemp is an associate in the litigation and environmental practice groups. He has extensive experience in business litigation matters, including contract disputes, unfair competition, trade secrets, non-compete agreements, lease disputes, real property disputes, and customer/supplier disputes. Matt also has experience in environmental and land use litigation, product liability defense, and federal and state environmental enforcement matters.
Before entering private practice, Matt served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jack Zouhary of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. While in law school at Northwestern University, Matt argued a federal criminal case in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and was named Best Speaker in the school's annual moot court competition.
