Michele Leo Hintson is a seasoned business litigator who dedicates her practice to representing businesses, insurance companies, health care organizations and individuals in all aspects of the dispute resolution process, including, performing pre-suit investigations and risk management analysis, attending mediation sessions, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, conducting depositions, and advocating for clients at hearings, trials, and arbitrations. Michele also frequently negotiates presuit and postsuit settlements on behalf of her clients, as she believes in the value of avoiding judicial intervention if that is the best course. In addition, Michele regularly advises clients on a variety of issues outside of the litigation context, including, employment concerns, construction matters, and contractual obligations.
Michele has over a decade of experience handling a wide variety of commercial disputes, including those involving payment and performance bonds, employment agreements, shareholder agreements, non-compete and non-disclosure agreements, construction defects, products liability, license agreements, premises liability, promissory note and mortgage defaults, and general collection matters.
While attending Stetson University College of Law, Michele served on the Moot Court Board.
Michele is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator and is available to mediate circuit court disputes throughout Florida.
