Rebecca E. Shope practices in the labor and employment and litigation practice groups. Rebecca defends employers in administrative and litigation matters including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, FMLA, and wrongful discharge disputes. In addition to litigating, Rebecca also assists employers in navigating complex employment laws and regulations, and takes an active role in her clients’ preventative measures. In addition to her employment practice, Rebecca represents clients in divorce and child custody matters, and is trained in collaborative divorce law matters.
Rebecca graduated from Heidelberg University in 2003 with a B.A. in political science and business administration. She received her law degree from the University of Toledo in 2008.
