Steven J. Chase is Board Certified in Civil Trial in the State of Florida and is a Certified Circuit-Civil Mediator in both State and Federal Courts.
Steven devotes his practice primarily to business and construction litigation and dispute resolution and has extensive experience in trial work, arbitration, civil mediation, and administrative and appellate proceedings. He has represented national corporations, institutional lenders, governmental bodies, commercial developers, construction firms, insurance companies, sureties, and other business entities and individuals in all forms of business, commercial, construction, products liability, and medical malpractice disputes.
Steven served on the Emory University Law Journal while in law school. Steven is admitted to practice law before all local and state courts in the State of Florida, the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, and the United States Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Steven authored "Attorneys' Fees in Real Property Litigation," Florida Real Property Litigation for The Florida Bar Continuing Legal Education and served as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of South Florida from 1979 to 1986 where he taught Business Law, and has lectured at various seminars involving such diverse substantive matters as Lender Liability and Mechanic's Liens.
