PHILIP S. CHUBB is a partner in the corporate practice group in the Charlotte, North Carolina office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP. His principal areas of practice are mergers and acquisitions, general corporate transactional matters and state and federal securities laws.

Mr. Chubb has over 25 years of experience in representing corporations and shareholders in every stage of acquisition and sale transactions involving both public and privately held corporations. He also regularly represents clients engaged in management buyouts and succession equity transfers.

Mr. Chubb was recognized as a 2009 North Carolina Law Impact Leader by Business Leader, North Carolina Legal Guide and was also named a 2008 Law Impact Leader for the Charlotte region by Business Leader Magazine.
