TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Partners Tammy Giroux and Robert Warchola spoke at the Northeast Surety & Fidelity Claims Conference held at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey September 23 – 25, 2009. Ms. Giroux’s topic was “Chasing the Attorney: Sources of Salvage When the Principal is a Lawyer.” Mr. Warchola’s topic was “Bernie Madoff Coming to Your Local Fidelity Claims Office.”
Ms. Giroux has extensive experience representing both individual and corporate clients in a variety of complex litigation matters, including contract disputes, tort and real estate litigation, and debtor-creditor matters. She also represents surety companies in connection with payment, performance, fidelity and fiduciary bonds. Ms. Giroux also has successfully represented health care providers in various litigation matters, including disputes involving the enforcement of restrictive covenants.
Ms. Giroux received her B.S. in Finance, cum laude, from Florida State University in 1991, and her J.D., cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law in 1993.
Mr. Warchola represents individuals and corporations on a variety of complex commercial matters.
