TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Tampa associate, Timothy C. Garding, has been appointed to the Executive Board of the Heights Urban Core Chamber (HUCC) and Trustee for HUCC’s Committee on Business Development, Resources and Education.
HUCC, formerly the Business Guild of Seminole Heights, is an organization committed to further enhancing the local business environment and culture of the “Heights” neighborhoods and business districts located in the urban core of Tampa, Florida. Its mission is to increase the viability of local Tampa businesses and encourage high-quality enterprise by enhancing and cultivating the historic Heights neighborhoods as a unique and enjoyable commercial environment.
Tim’s principal areas of practice are commercial litigation, employment and labor, administrative/government law, and healthcare. He also serves on the Boards of Directors of Tampa Bay Businesses for Culture and the Arts, Tempus Projects, and on the Advisory Board of the Raymond James Gasparilla Festival of the Arts.
Tim received his J.D., cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law and his B.A. from University of Minnesota – Duluth.
